1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using Yoonu Colis, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Yoonu Colis is a trade name of M.L. Capital Group LLC, a US limited liability company (“Yoonu Colis,” “we,” “us”). These Terms apply to the Yoonu Colis app, this website and all services we provide.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must give us accurate, complete information: your full legal name, phone number, email, address, and your recipient’s details. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.

Every customer must complete identity verification, including a government-issued photo ID matched to a live selfie, before placing their first order. Additional verification is required for larger transactions or flagged activity, as described in our KYC Policy.

2. Our services

We forward packages by air from the United States to Dakar, Senegal, and can buy items from US retailers for you.

Package forwarding: you ship your own US purchases or personal belongings to our US receiving location. We receive, inspect, weigh and consolidate them, then ship them to Dakar.

Buy for me: you submit the items you want from a US retailer and pay in full. We place the order on your behalf and forward the items to Dakar. We are not the seller; the retailer is responsible for product quality, sizing and warranty.

Storage: storage is free for 30 days after a package arrives. After that, a fee of USD 2 per package per week applies. Packages unclaimed and unpaid after 90 days may be disposed of or donated.

Delivery in Dakar: we deliver to the recipient address you provide, or you may collect at our Dakar pickup point. Air transportation is performed by commercial airlines through TSA-certified air cargo partners. We may open, inspect and repack any package to comply with security, customs and export rules.

3. Pricing, payment and refunds

All orders and shipping fees must be paid in full before we buy or ship anything. We do not offer cash on delivery.

Shipping price: charged per kilogram of actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, at the rate shown in the app when you request shipment. Senegalese customs duties and taxes are included in our per-kilogram rate.

Buy-for-me orders: you pay the item price, US sales tax, any US delivery charge and our service fee before we place the order.

Payment methods: card payments through Stripe, Wave and Orange Money. We do not accept cash, cryptocurrency or payments from third parties.

Refunds: refunds go only to the original payment method. Buy-for-me orders cancelled before we place them are refunded in full. After we place an order, cancellations and returns follow the retailer’s own policy, minus our service fee and any return shipping. Shipping fees are refundable only if we cancel the shipment before it leaves the United States. Packages refused for prohibited contents are not refunded; they are returned to the sender at the sender’s cost where possible.

4. Prohibited items, sanctions and customs

You may not send or order items that are illegal, dangerous, or restricted for export from the United States or import into Senegal. Our Prohibited and Restricted Items list forms part of these Terms.

Sanctions: we automatically screen all customers and recipients against US government sanctions lists, including the OFAC SDN List, at sign-up and before each shipment. We do not serve sanctioned persons or ship to or through Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions. You may not resell or forward goods to any sanctioned person or place.

Declarations: you must accurately describe the contents and value of every package. False declarations may lead to refusal, account closure and reporting to authorities.

Customs: Senegalese duties and taxes on personal shipments are included in our rate. Shipments treated as commercial goods may incur additional duties, which we will tell you about before shipping. We are not responsible for delays or seizures by customs authorities. We, or our freight partner, file US export information when required by law.

5. Delivery, loss, damage and claims

Delivery times: most shipments arrive in Dakar 7 to 12 days after leaving our US location. Airline schedules, customs and events outside our control can cause delays, and we are not liable for them. You can follow each shipment’s status in the app.

Lost or damaged packages: report it within 7 days of delivery, or of the expected delivery date for a lost package, through the app or by email, with photos and proof of value.

Liability limit: unless you buy optional coverage, our liability for loss or damage is limited to the lesser of the declared value or USD 100 per shipment, plus the shipping fee paid. Optional coverage raises this limit to the declared value.

Not covered: poorly packed or fragile items, perishable goods, prohibited items, retailer defects or wrong items, and loss caused by customs, war, natural disaster or other events beyond our control. A package is delivered when handed to the recipient or someone at the delivery address, or collected at our pickup point.

6. General terms

Suspension: we may refuse service, hold a shipment, or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law. Amounts owed for services already provided remain due.

Disclaimer: the service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.

Changes: we may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Personal data: we use your personal information only to verify your identity, meet our legal obligations and provide the service. We do not sell it. Verification records are kept for 5 years after your account closes or your last transaction.
